This illustration is a digital water color rendending made for one episode for the first season of Fincher's House of Cards.  

It resemble a period style hand draw rendering, was printed in large size paper and feature on the show to present the project for the construction of the new Underwood Library.

The Francis J. Underwood Library VFX Digital Extension

I worked with Steve Arnold to create the frame for the digital extension. We try many options, adding different details to the existing building , to make it more impresive with a second floor and modernist look.
